Corporate SMS solutions

enables easy communication with mobile phones and pagers

You can send an e-mail to any GSM phone or any rented pager in the UK in the usual way Mobe.Net allows text messages to be sent to digital mobile phones and pagers. Pagers may have varying message lengths from 20 up to 400 characters while mobile phones have a message length of 160 characters.

The ability of mobile phones to act as text messaging devices and the ability to send them text messages while they are busy or switched off is a feature that is now as common as their use for voice calls.

Each mobile phone or pager on any of the supported networks has a unique Internet email address comprising the domain name 'mobe.net' prefixed by the pager or phone number. For example, the Cellnet mobile phone 07803 229 332 can be accessed from anywhere in the world using its email address '07803229332@mobe.net'.

Any number of emails can be sent at the same time using the address book facilities of any mailer and they can be received in a number of ways. You can also include normal e-mail addresses so that internal people receive the message at the same time.

In addition you can also send e-mails to fax machines by putting the number in front of @fax.mobe.net. For instance, a fax machine with the number 020 7899 1234 would have the e-mail address of 02078991234@fax.mobe.net.
